The Dawn of the Black Hearts

This is the only bootleg album allowed an entry on the Metal Archives, due to its notorious historical content. The front cover is a photograph of Mayhem's vocalist, Dead (Per Yngve Ohlin), after his suicide in April 1991. The photo was taken by Euronymous.

Original version on LP by Bull Metal (R.I.P.) who played in Masacre and was also the owner of Warmaster Records in Colombia.
Has golden letters on the cover.

Illegally reissued many times afterwards, in many different formats and configurations, making it one of the most bootlegged albums in metal history.

This version contains the "Pure Fucking Armageddon" demo as bonus. It also combines "Danse Macabre" and "Black Metal" together in one track, an oddity that occurs on many versions of this bootleg.

Tracks 9 to 12: recorded live at Follorocken in Ski, Norway, 20/4, 1985 (the notes claim that these tracks were recorded in Lillehammer, Norway in 1986, but this is false).
