Holly Willoughby shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the Dancing on Ice (DOI) final over the weekend which showed the host backstage alongside her daughter Belle.

The latest series of the ITV show concluded on Sunday night after having launched eight weeks earlier. Holly, 43, and her co-host Stephen Mulhern, 46, fronted the final, which coincided with Mother's Day this year, together.

The presenter marked the special occasion in posts on Instagram. Holly has three children with her husband Dan Baldwin, 49, whom she's been married to since 2007. The couple are parents to Harry, 14, Belle, 12, and Chester, nine.

Holly shared a photo of herself and Belle, alongside her co-host Stephen, recently. It showed the trio backstage at DOI ahead of the final. They were seen looking at a monitor during a dress rehearsal, with what appeared to be a script and some refreshments visible on a table in front of them.

Holly wrote in the caption: "When mums have to work Mother's Say… so lucky to take my mini me with me … @dancingonice #dressrehearsal." And she accompanied the post with ABBA's song Slipping Through My Fingers.

The post has amassed more than 18,000 likes on the platform since it was uploaded. Among those who liked the post were Holly's ITV colleagues Christine Lampard, Rochelle Humes, Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.

The latest series of DOI concluded with former Coronation Street cast member Ryan Thomas and his skating partner Amani Fancy announced as the winners. They had competed in the final against two other couples on the show.

Made in Chelsea star Miles Nazaire and radio presenter Adele Roberts were the other two celebrities who competed in the episode. Greg Rutherford had been due to take part but the former Olympic athlete withdrew from the final after sustaining an injury just hours beforehand.

It was announced in the closing moments of the show that DOI will return next year for a new series. The news was shared in a speech given by hosts Holly and Stephen, who expressed gratitude to their colleagues and ITV viewers.

Holly said: "That is it for this series. Thank you to all of our couples for taking part." She went on to thank commentator Sam Matterface, head coach Karen Barber and creative director Dan Whiston. She concluded her speech by thanking the judging panel, which consisted of Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Stephen added: "And a big thanks to you for watching and voting. We are back next year with the brand new class of 2025." He further commented as the latest final drew to a close on Sunday: "Do not miss it! Until then, goodbye."
