I'll bump up your thread with a couple shots of my C. dimerus "Bella Union" taken yesterday. Mine will soon go in the pond for the summer, hope it fires up a spawn like yours.

Cichlasoma is my favorite genus as well. I agree they have great personalities. And they make excellent parents. Here a few more photos.

duanes, that one is looking really nice.

They get to about six inches for the male, slightly smaller for the female. Some males may get even larger. My adult male seems to have stopped growing at six inches. Here's a bad picture of my adult pair of C. dimerus 'Bella Union' which are very different from the Cichlasoma cf. dimerus pair of this thread.
