Jenny McCarthy's mystery date is Vegas fitness model

The mystery date who's been squiring actress/comedian/author Jenny McCarthy, who split with longtime boyfriend Jim Carrey in April, is Las Vegas fitness model and dad Jason Toohey, a McCarthy representative told People magazine Tuesday.

McCarthy, 37, who hosted the Las Vegas leg of Playboy's annual Midsummer Night's Dream party Saturday, herself only told the magazine, "I've been living in Vegas for about a month. My house is under construction right now in L.A., so I very well could be here until it's done."

She and Toohey, 35, have been spotted around town on several dates and were seen kissing at the Midsummer party at the Palms Casino Resort.

McCarthy, who's been renting a house for herself and her son Evan, 8, has been promoting what's been reported to be Toohey's product Eyedews, a collagen eye-mask treatment for puffy eyes. The Eyedews website says its company, Mood Menders Llc, "is a small, woman-owned business" founded in 2007 by one Jan Toohey, whose relationship with Jason Toohey is unclear. McCarthy has talked about the product on her verified Twitter page and on Las Vegas TV, People said.

Toohey, who has played a buccaneer in the Treasure Island casino-hotel show "Sirens of TI," and appeared in that capacity in the 2005 Sandra Bullock movie "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous," is seen snuggling with McCarthy in a picture on his Facebook page.
