Dolly Parton apparently has some super secret body art.
While the 68-year-old country singer isn’t shy about flaunting her curves, she has managed to allegedly keep ink on her breasts and arms under wraps by only ever wearing long sleeve ensembles, as first pointed out by Jezebel.
Parton has been the center of tattoo rumors for years, especially after exposing what seemed like part of one in her cleavage at the “Joyful Noise” premiere in 2012.
When asked about it by Anderson Cooper during an appearance weeks later, she implied that the breast tat was not real.
She simply said she “might” have them but wouldn’t expose the ink until caught.
Roseanne Barr and Jennifer Saunders have both outted the blond starlet on separate occasions in the past.
Saunders said in her autobiography that Parton had “the most beautiful angels and beautiful butterflies and baskets of flowers in pastel-colored tattoos.”
Barr told Craig Ferguson in a 2011 sit-down, “Do you know who’s totally tattooed?”
“I shouldn’t even tell this. Dolly Parton is totally tattooed…She showed me. She’s got all these awesome tattoos all over body, no black or blue lines, all like, pastel gorgeous bows all over everything.”
Parton, who happens to be godmother to pop star Miley Cyrus, has defended the young star’s eye-brow raising antics over the last year.
Perhaps it’s because she has a bit of a wild side herself.
“The girl can write. The girl can sing. The girl is smart. And she doesn’t have to be so drastic. But I will respect her choices. I did it my way, so why can’t she do it her way?” Parton recently told Time magazine for their 100 Most Influential People issue in April.
