Blue gouramis grow too big to be kept with smaller fish like small tetras. They are more suitable for fish like tiger barbs, other gouramis, and large tetras. The ones pictured are opaline gouramies which is a derivative of the blue gourami. Blue gouramis have a couple of big black spots instead of the stripes.
