Pyhäportti is a beautiful rapids in Vähäjoki, which is especially popular among paddlers. At the end of the road leading to Pyhäportti, there is an observation deck from which you can admire “Tervola’s Niagara.” Some parts of the rapids flow throughout the winter without freezing.
