Attractions in Tornio

Tornio is the home of two museums. In the Aine Art Museum you can visit exhibitions, lectures or take place in a workshop. The second museum, Tornio Valley Museum explains culture and history of Tornio on the finnish side and the swedish side. It highlights the traditional way of living, border issues like smuggeling, border trade or mariagge across the broder. Further the Tornio Church, which was openend in 1684 is definetly a place worth to visit.

Tornio Church

Tornio church was opened in 1684 and belonges  to the epoch of renaissance. It is located in the centre of Tornio and belongs to one of the oldest wooden churches in Finland.
