It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM was living in a cul-de-sac in San Jacinto, California. The family that was taking care of the ferals in their area reached out that they needed help with TNR. They agreed to take care of the actual feral cats and we would help TNR them and take any little kittens. Well, we trapped several cats. All the others were feral. We caught CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM, CSI SARA SIDLE and CSI CATHERINE WILLOWS.


CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM was in the trap with his siter CSI SARA SIDLE. And like we had promised, we took in the kittens. So both these guys are with us until one of our fosters is available. He is so very sweet!! He is ok to be picked up. He is still learning to play nice with other cats. He is playful and shy. We want to do right by him and find him a true FURever home.


Meet CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM, a kitten who's as intriguing as his namesake. His personality is a delightful mix of sweet, independent, curious, and goofy. He's brave and funny, always ready to explore new corners or play with a dangling string. CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM is also smart and mellow, making him a great companion for quiet evenings.


CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM's friendly and gentle with other pets, and adores canned food. Despite his shy and timid nature, he's full of energy and love. Adopting CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM would mean inviting a bundle of joy into your life. His unique personality and love for play and cuddles make him the perfect addition to any home looking for a new furry family member.


CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TUXEDO MIX. He is about 8 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around dogs that we are aware of or children.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

APRIL 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

The adoption fee of $200 covers:


Neuter
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
