Now here we have a lovely little ensemble for another former Aalto home: Alajärvi. In fact, this little village-center complex is scarcely a block away from the Youth Association Building where we began this chronology, and where Aalto's career effectively began, some fifty years before the development of the projects seen here. Kind of nuts, really. Thankfully, the new complex hits all the right notes and finds Aalto operating in a smart, subtle fashion despite what had to be a limited…
