Korsnäs is one of Sweden’s leading producers of cartonboard and paper intended for users with exacting demands on effective, creative and functional packaging solutions, primarily within the consumer goods segment. Its products are based on renewable, wood-based raw materials and, on a daily basis, Korsnäs helps customers worldwide use resources economically and sustainably, develop brands and enhance profitability. Production takes place at the company’s three mills, which have integrated pulp production facilities. Korsnäs has a total annual capacity of 1.1 million tonnes of cartonboard and paper, with about 90 percent of sales to the export market. Korsnäs employs 1,800 people, has annual sales of approximately EUR 900 m (2010) and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Investment AB Kinnevik.
