My aim as a therapist is to help you find greater freedom and satisfaction in your relationships, your work, your creativity, and your relationship to Self. My active and empathic approach will bring you to a deeper, more nuanced understanding of your core emotions. This emotional attunement will guide the therapy process and leave you feeling more in-synch with yourself. In sessions, I will steer you away from anxieties and distractions in order to give your mind clarity and to allow for more meaningful therapy.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Art Therapist. The many years I worked as a child therapist and trauma specialist in community based organizations informs my work. We were all children once, and what we couldn't process then, we can process now.
I work with people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have specialized training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.
