A cocreator of Cards Against Humanity sent a present to all 100 U.S. senators — and he probably won't be getting thank-you notes.

According to the Daily Dot, Cards Against Humanity cocreator Max Temkin, video-game maker Mike Boxleiter, and author Tommy Maranges mailed every senator their brand-new, Kickstarter-funded creation, called Secret Hitler. The Kickstarter campaign has raised more than $1.4 million. As its website explains, the five- to ten-player game pits a majority of "liberal" players against a small group of secret "fascists" who are trying to push through their own agenda and put a "cold-blooded" leader into power. The liberals must work together to trust each other so they can put a stop to the fascists' plans.

So why did the senators get this gift? According to the letter that accompanied the game, which Temkin tweeted out on Friday, "We thought you and your staff might find our game relevant as you negotiate the balance of power with the Trump White House."

The letter also explains, "To achieve his evil ends, Adolf Hitler required the cooperation of well-meaning men who hoped to appease and control the Nazis. Our game explores that relationship and highlights the difficulty of recognizing your own manipulation before it’s too late."

Want a copy for yourself? The game is currently in stock on Amazon for $35. But you don't have to buy your senators a game to get your message across. We've got nine easy steps to being a part of the resistance.
