KELLY Ripa had a lot to say about a Live exec who is retiring after 53 years with the company.

On Wednesday's episode, hosts Kelly, 53, and her husband Mark Consuelos, 53, said a heartfelt goodbye to Art Moore.

Art, who is in charge of production at Live, has been with ABC since 1966.

The exec has been working on Live for 36 years.

While speaking with him, Kelly admitted that over the next few months, she could convince Art not to retire.

"Art is the reason, I say it all the time, that I am here and that I've stayed here for all these years.

"You are so, so important to me, to our family. You are one in a gazillion and you mean so much to all of us."

The TV personality kept praising Art, "You're the most special, devoted, loyal, extraordinary person I've ever met in my life.

"We love and adore you and I will spend the next several months of my life talking you out of this."

Mark then joked, "Art, I gotta tell you. I can't help but take it personally."

Art then revealed that he will be working with the US daytime TV series until September.

Kelly continued to joke around, "I know that you're not leaving this building without me."

She turned to her Hollywood actor husband and said, "This could be so exciting for you.

"You could have a whole new co-host and I could be retired with Art."

Mark was taken aback by her statement and laughed and then moved on to their next topic of discussion.

'HE CAN'T GO!'

On Live's Instagram page, the show shared a clip of Kelly, Mark, and Art's heartfelt conversation where fans flooded the comment section with praises.

One viewer wrote, "Just love Art!! Say it ain’t so!! He can’t go!!"

"How can we communicate with him? He’s just a classic and so beloved. I want to tell him how thankful I am," a second said.

"Art is a living legend," another commented.

A fourth explained, "He will be SO MISSED - it sounds silly, but knowing he's there every day, and has been for 30 plus years brings me comfort! I grew up with Art Moore!!!"
