Description

Many people in the car world consider BMW's E28 M5 the first real sports sedan and the car that set the mold for the three-plus decades of performance sedans that came after it. In its day, it was a comfortable luxury sedan that could keep up with a contemporary Porsche 911 in a straight line and when the road got twisty as well. Thanks to this history, the M5 line has always been an eagerly awaited car from BMW and spawned some of their most famous vehicles of all time. In 2017, BMW unveiled its new F90 M5- although it was critiqued for being a very large car, there was no doubt it was far and away the fastest M5 produced and more capable than any car in its lineage before it. With a Twin-Turbocharged V8 producing 600 horsepower, the standard car was able to accomplish the 0-60 sprint in just 2.9 seconds and, when delimited, had a top speed in excess of 190 mph. In 2021, BMW announced their highest performing version of the M5 yet- known as the CS, this car relied heavily on carbon fiber to bring the weight down by 256lbs and was paired with a 26 horsepower bump and unique four bucket seat interior design. The car was only available in three colors- all of them from the “Frozen” line and the trim which was previously chrome, was now coated in gold bronze detailing. This car has a striking appearance and became the darling of the motoring press. Although both the weight reduction and the power bump were modest, all of the little changes made turned this M5 from a fast luxury car into a true track weapon that the M5 had never before been. In reviews, journalists described the straight-line performance in terms that are usually reserved for fighter jets, and the tail-happy handling dynamics were praised for being predictable and massive fun.

This M5 CS is a nearly brand new car showing just 86 miles on the odometer. Delivered to BMW of West Palm Beach, the car has only been driven twice prior to being put up for sale. Specified in the optional $5,000 Frozen Deep Green paint, the car has an absolutely stunning appearance and the color plays off the gold accents absolutely fantastically. The unique carbon fiber bodywork gives the car a more aggressive look while also reducing weight and aiding in cooling the massive engine. Behind the Gold Bronze finish wheels sit a set of M carbon ceramic brakes with bright red calipers and as you would expect, it all remains flawless. On the interior, the four bucket seats are finished in black Merino leather interior with Mugello Red accents and contrast stitching. To reinforce the track heritage of this car, the headrests have an imprint of the infamous Nurburgring track in the perforation to ensure you don't forget this car's racing roots. Included with the sale is the full set of books and manuals, an original window sticker, and a limited edition 1 of 3 metallic print of the car that has been signed by the seller and photographer. If you want the ultimate daily driver or a track car you can bring your friends along with you for hot laps, there is no better car on the market than the M5 CS and this one with just 86 miles from new, is absolutely perfect.
