Five signs real life Emmerdale couple Matthew Wolfenden and Charley Webb had split – from internet snub to wedding rings
MATTHEW Wolfenden and Charley Webb have confirmed they've split after five years of marriage.
The couple, who both shot to fame on Emmerdale, met on the set of the ITV soap in 2007.
But last night Charley, 35, released a statement confirming she and Matthew, 43, had gone their separate ways.
They first sparked rumours of marriage troubles weeks ago and it seems signs of a split have been there for a while.
Ring riddle
As rumours of a break-up first began to circulate, Charley was snapped looking downcast and had switched her wedding rings to her right hand.
Bold social move
Despite them being parents to Buster, 13, Bowie, eight, and Ace, four, and their long relationship, Matthew raised eyebrows when he unfollowed his wife on Instagram earlier this month.

Having her say
While speculation over trouble in her relationship ramped up Charley further fuelled rumours with a post on social media.
She shared a snap on social media captioned: "Ignoring life and all the jobs I need to do."
Cryptic silence
Around the same time Matthew appeared on Loose Women.
The actor admitted that his parents have had to step in and help look after their kids but failed to mention Charley during the interview.

Despite this, Matthew did say on a couple of occasions about how much he missed his boys while working away.
No support
Earlier this year Charley announced she'd be making her theatre debut in the stage show Quiz.
A number of her former co-stars have already been to see her play Diana Ingram, but Matthew has been a no show.
On opening night she received an outpouring of support from her famous pals – again Matthew didn’t publicly acknowledge it.
