Fans of “CSI” have something big to look forward to this season. Everyone’s favorite investigator, Gil Grissom, is coming back to the small screen. The bad news is he won’t be there for long.
Entertainment Weekly reports that actor William Petersen will return for a guest cameo sometime in the near future, and TV Line’s Michael Ausiello speculates that the spot could come as soon as this week.
In an episode set to air Feb. 3, Grissom’s other half, Sara, spends some quality time with Mama Grissom and that seems the perfect setup for his brief return.
