Hello.
The tank is almost 4 weeks. My plant leaves turn brown with brown spots. Can you tell me what it is? I cut a few leaves off and tried to remove it, but it wasn't sediment. The plant keeps putting out new pretty leaves. Picture below.

It's diatoms, perfectly normal with an early set up, and perfectly normal with this plant. Advice would be to pinch out at the point of good growth and re plant then discard the ugly growth.. The plant itself grows quickly and efficiently under most conditions, however it quickly re focuses energy into new growth. Its a survival specialist, hence forgoing old growth.
Do you feed the plants?

Thanks for answer :)
Yes i use. Qualdrop Basic grow and Qualdrop MicroPlant.
Now in tank i have few amano shripm's and Clea Helenas.
Can i ask in my thread about another one plant? Mean Staurogyne repens. I bought some, planted it and they started to lose their leaves. Someone told me that this is normal and the plant sometimes has to acclimatize to new conditions for several weeks. Photo below

Hi @Loricaria, Welcome to UKAPS! :) What @John q says... and please post some more info about your setup - see link below:

With that you will get way better help with your Pennyworth and other plant issues :) That’s said, 4 weeks is nothing for a planted tank… have patience, the diatoms will go away by itself as the tank matures.

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks Michael :)
So. The tank is 240l. Active substrate H.e.l.p Advanced Soil Plants and sand on it. Filter are Aquael Unimax 500 with sponge, activate carbon, ceramic Sera Spiorax, out with rainshower. Light about 25/30 lumens per liter 8hours daily. Co2 fertilization is on. I have few Helena snails and Amano Shrimp in tank. One large root and one small, several dark grey stones.
Do you need a photo of the tank?
