Flashback: Phil Laak Rivers John Gordon

Back in Hand #45, Phil Laak was all in preflop with [10c10d] and dominated by John Gordon’s [KdKh]. But the board came [9d6d5h7c8d] to give Laak a ten-high straight to win the pot and double up.

John Gordon was crippled on the hand, but doubled up twice a couple hands later to briefly get back into contention. Gordon has since slipped back below 1 million in chips.
