Lindsay Lohan is gorgeous. She always has been, but now that she’s a mom and back in her film-making era — her latest movie, Irish Wish, premiered today on Netflix! — Lohan has an iridescent glow about her that is stunning to witness. Part of this comes from her own self-confidence — and lack of concern to “snap back” to her pre-baby self.

The Freaky Friday star was featured in a new cover story for Bustle, where she chatted about the “pressure” of being thin and the postpartum period.

“Everyone’s getting so thin now. I feel like everything always comes full circle again, so this is that moment, and this, too, shall pass. But it does seem like there’s pressure,” Lohan, who welcomed baby Luai in July 2023, told the outlet.

She also shared the one thing she didn’t think about at all after she gave birth. “I was so attached to [Luai] that my last thought was going on a treadmill,” Lohan told the outlet. Girl, same!!! “I feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves to have to look ‘good’ so soon, but you look so beautiful [postpartum].”

“Give yourself time,” she added. The Mean Girls star nailed it! No mom should be worried about their bodies after having a baby, whether 1 month or 21 months postpartum.

Lohan shared that now, she is working hard to stay positive. “My stuff is positive manifestations and baby foods,” Lohan said about the time she spends online. She likes to be surrounded by “positive people”: “People, places and things I’m a big believer in, and that definitely has shaped more of who I am today,” she added.

In an interview with PEOPLE on Thursday, the “Rumors” singer shared an update about her daily routine with baby Luai. “For me, playing with my son and spending time with him,” she told the outlet. “Right now he just loves being outside and taking walks, so I just try to get him outside as much as I can because he loves looking around.”

“He’s ripping my hair out now, so that’s the new thing,” she added. “He pulls my baby hairs too, so I have bald spots.” It’s all part of the beautiful postpartum!
