Adam Lambert confirms ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ cameo

Adam Lambert finally confirmed his much-rumored, hiding-in-plain-sight cameo appearance in the Freddie Mercury biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” If the bearded dude hanging out at a truck stop men’s room looked familiar, bingo.

The former “American Idol” breakout and sometime Queen singer tweeted a photo of himself from the movie today, along with the message “Who is he!?” and two emojis – one smirking, one laughing.

See the tweet – and the photo – below.

Though Lambert had confirmed an appearance in the movie last fall, he didn’t reveal the character, and the blink-and-miss-it moment well into the film goes uncredited. The scene makes clear that the anonymous trucker and Mercury (Golden Globe winner Rami Malek) hook up at the truck stop during a Queen tour, just after the singer phoned fiancé Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton).

So why is Lambert tweeting about it now? That’s another mystery solved in the tweet: “#BohemianRhapsodyMovie is available for digital download on 1/22!”
