Virtual pollen database

Pollen can be prepared quickly and easily, which makes them ideal objects when visiting groups or trainees want to get to know our laboratory better. The preparation is very simple. Pollen from plants brought along are spread on guide tabs (Plano) and sputtered with gold. They can then be examined immediately in the scanning microscope - as air-dried pollen. The plants originate mainly from the university campus, sporadically ornamental plants were also recorded.
