RME13T39–Mar. 27, 2012 - Ulrike Meinhof committed suicide in Prison: Almost one year after the beginning of the trial against leading members of the anarchist ''Beader/Meinhof group'', another member of the group has died in custody. Ulrike Meinhof (41-picture) was found dead on May 9th in her cell of the Stuttgart Stammheim prison, after she had hanged herself with a towel. On November 9th 1974, Holger Meins, also one of the leaders of the group, had died while being on hunger strike. Ulrike Meinhof was born on October 7th 1934 in Oldenburg (North Germany)

RME145HA–Apr. 04, 2012 - Bomb attempt in Centre of Munich: In the main subway station of Munich, the Stachus, a bomb exploded in one of the luggage lockers in the night of May 14th, 1976. The explosion brought down the ceiling of about 1200 square metres and many windows of nearby shops were smashed. No persons were injured. The police assume, that the bomb attempt is connected with the death of leader Ulrike Meinhof of the ''baader/Meinhof Group'', who had committed suicide in prison on May 9th.
